Port Credit Yacht Club
The Club where you can "Vacation Every Day of the Week" means the absolute perfect location for you, your family, your friends and your boat. Known as "The place to be" with a reputation as one of the friendliest Clubs on the lake, Port Credit Yacht Club is set in acres of lush, green parkland on the Ontario Waterfront Trail. It is an idyllic setting with complete amenities yet easily within reach of all that Greater Toronto has to offer. Port Credit Yacht Club was founded in 1936. It is the home of the Susan Hood Trophy Race, held annually since 1955. It is a sponsoring club of the Lake Ontario 300 Challenge Race and the Lake Ontario Short Handed Racing Series. On the racing side of the ledger, PCYC has both a large fleet of competitive keel boats and an agressive fleet of world-renowned J-24's. On Monday nights there is "rookie" racing for cruisers, as well as single handed and double-handed divisions. In addition to scoring in your division, there is also scoring for Women-on-the-Helm. Wednesdays nights are Club race nights and there is always room for new and enthusiastic entrants whether they own a boat or simply want to crew. Thursday night is dedicated to a J24 racing program. For the power boaters, there is an opportunity to compete in predicted log racing. Social cruises are arranged throughout the season to affiliated yacht clubs and specialty cruises are arranged to various destinations. At Port Credit Yacht Club you can always count on friendly neighbors whether you are pulling in and out of your slip or looking for company as you are relaxing aboard. PCYC reciprocal policy – 1st night free (to a maximum of three occasions per season), additional nights at $1.00 per foot. for more information on the Port Credit Yacht Club, click here.
